We are glad to announce the launch of a new collaboration with Pane E Rose Onlus. We have been assigned the production within the year of two original documentary projects covering the refugees reception in our city
Our new feature, Granitsa, is now online. On our website you will find all the images and a brief introduction to the work.
Granitsa focuses on the Russian community of Ida-Viru, a small region of Estonia that hosts the biggest russophone minority of European Union. This little area shares its eastern border with Russia. A very peculiar one, indeed, since it parts far more than two sovereign States: crossing the border (granitsa, in Russian language) means to leave behind both European Union and NATO, of which Estonia is among the most loyal and committed members.
SooS Chronicles will hold a free urban photography workshop at Zappa, Prato within the event ViANDANDO, organized by ANPI Prato with the aim of collecting new images of the city regarding three different topics:
- the artistic installation of “Pietre d’inciampo”;
- industrial archaeology;
- human fabric.
All the 21 Polaroids from the feature “Se ne sono andati tutti” by Filippo Bardazzi will be on show for the first time in a solo art exhibition at Studio 38 Contemporary Art Gallery, Corso Amendola 38E, Pistoia from October 8th to November 5th (tue/sat 4PM – 7.30PM + by appointment).
The curator of the show is Luca Sposato. A catalogue accompanying the exhibition will soon be available both in the gallery and online.
